'Descendants' SPOILERS And Cast UPDATES: Disney Reveals 6 Minutes Clip [WATCH VIDEO]

Mark your calendars Disney fans! Disney Channel's Original Movie "Descendants" is coming soon.

Director Kenny Ortega of the "High School Musical" fame is set to capture Disney fans' young and young at heart's fancy alike.

Disney Channel's "Descendants" narrates the story of the children of Disney's most despicable villains, now in their teenage years - Cruella de Vil ("101 Dalmatians"), Evil Queen ("Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), Maleficent ("Sleeping Beauty") and Jafar ("Aladdin").

According to Variety, Disney Channel's "Descendants" boasts of stars —some appeared in other Disney original movie — that were up to the task of portraying characters that were a little bit despised, but this movie will show a different side of the villains. Maybe there is goodness within them after all. Plus, their kids will also be involved in the unique storyline of the movie.

To start off, Wendy Raquel Robinson portrays Cruella de Vil with Cameron Boyce ("Jessie") as her son, Carlos; Sofia Carson ("Austin and Ally") plays Evie, daughter to Kathy Najimy's Evil Queen; Kristin Chenoweth suits up as Maleficent while Dove Cameron ("Liv and Maddie") portrays Mal, her daughter; and Booboo Stewart ("Good Luck Charlie," "Twilight") as Jay, son to Maz Jobrani's Jafar.

A creative iPad overview of the kingdom of Auradon starts the trailer of "Descendants," followed by Prince Ben, son of Belle and Beast ("Beauty and the Beast"), requesting his parents for certain Disney villains' children to have the opportunity of redeeming themselves from what their parents had done in the past. After all, they weren't the ones who caused chaos and trouble.

Beast could be seen hesitant at first, but warms up to the thought after having realized that he too was misjudged once. The King and Queen agree that the children of the villains can cross over to the school for the Good Guys where they can hopefully prove that they're not like their parents, Hypable has learned.

The next scene shows the island where the exiled villains are staying, with their children performing a track, "Rotten to the Core," accompanied by a great dance choreography.

Disney Channel's "Descendants" premieres on July 31, Friday.
