Bobbi Kristina Brown Dead UPDATE: Nick Gordon Faces Legal Woes Amid Whitney Houston’s Daughter’s Death; Cause Of Death Remains Uncertain?

Bobbi Kristina Brown Dead Update — The whole entertainment industry is currently mourning the death of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's 22-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown. And amid the bereavement of the Houstons and the Browns, one person is also devastated over the news — and that is Krissi's boyfriend Nick Gordon.

Despite facing legal charges, Nick Gordon was shattered after learning of Bobbi Kristina Brown's death. Brown and Gordon started their relationship in 2012 following Houston's death. Though they were never married, they considered themselves as husband and wife on social media. Their relationship ignited the tension between their families.

In the wake of Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, Nick Gordon is still holding out hope that he would see her one final time. He is also heartbroken and grieving.

"Nick is very upset," an insider said. "You can say what you want about him and Bobbi Kristina, but he really did love her very much and is devastated that she is gone."

Gordon's mother Michele also released a statement about how his 25-year-old son is feeling amid Krissi's tragic demise.

"The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family. Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they've been apart," Michele Gordon told People. "Nick and our family are in mourning, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time."

Meanwhile, authorities are planning to treat the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, who was found in a tub in her home in Georgia on Jan. 31, as murder, prompting immediate investigation. According to TMZ, the probe was due to Krissi's inexplicable bruises on her face and body as well as her swollen lips and missing teeth.

In Bobbi Kristina Brown's case, the person of interest is reportedly Nick Gordon. Daily Mail also learned that an autopsy is scheduled to be conducted sometime this week. And Krissi's dad, Bobby Brown, was very emotional about his daughter's death but has accepted that she is in a much better place now.

As for the initial autopsy, the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office said in a statement that Bobbi Kristina Brown's cause of death remains uncertain since it only provided little information, Hollywood Life reported.

"The initial portion of the autopsy has been completed. The autopsy does not show an obvious underlying cause of death and no significant injuries were noted. No previously unknown medical conditions that could have contributed to death were identified," the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office stated in a statement on Monday, July 27

The authorities also added that further laboratory testing will be executed. Meanwhile, subpoenas have been handed out to acquire needed documentary information.

"We do not plan to complete the death certificate or determine a cause and manner of death until all test results are completed and all investigative, medical, and other documentary records are received and thoroughly reviewed," they added. "We anticipate that these processes will take several weeks."

The fact that Bobbi Kristina Brown remained in a coma for almost 7 months, however, will "complicate" things.

"Interpretation of autopsy findings and other information will also be challenging," a Medical Examiner's Office representative told AP. "However, an autopsy could be helpful to address questions which may arise about the cause of her unresponsiveness and eventual death."

As for Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral, Entertainment Tonight revealed that it will be held in Atlanta and will be buried next to her mother in New Jersey.
