"Frozen 2" has got the wheels turning to create another animated film which will follow the success of the 2013 blockbuster hit "Frozen."
An update for "Frozen 2" was the inclusion of Eva Bella, who gave life to the young Elsa in "Frozen." The young star has apparently gotten on board the upcoming movie which is slated for release on November 2018. Reports were also circulating that the sequel will center on the back story of the Queen of Arendelle, which may possibly give an insight to the beginning of her magical powers, as per Venture Capital Post.
Fans of "Frozen," both young and old alike have been stretching their heads to get first hand information regarding the progress of "Frozen 2." Disney confirmed last March that it has plans to pursue the sequel to the well-loved animation flick.
John Lasseter, Disney's Chief Creative Officer stated, as per Variety, that, "We enjoyed making 'Frozen Fever' so much and being back in that world with those characters. Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel and you will be hearing a lot more about it and we're taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that."
Followers of "Frozen" will be thrilled if indeed the storyline for "Frozen 2" will focus on Queen Elsa's snow-controlling abilities, especially now that rumors that Eva Bella is on board the project.
Confirmed stars who were previously disclosed to bring back the voices of their characters were Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell as Ana, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff and Josh Grad as Olaf.
Meanwhile, Latinos Health reported that Josh Gad has recently ended "Beauty and the Beast," a Disney live-action movie which also features Luke Evans. The "Fast and Furious 6" star portrays the muscled villain, Gaston while Josh Gad plays Gaston's loyal sidekick, LeFou.
Fans were left wondering if and when Gad will start on "Frozen 2" now that he has wrapped up Disney's "Beauty and the Beast."
In other news, Forbes reported that Disney teamed up with Code.org, an organization committed to creating computer science accessible in schools and expanding diversity in this area, to build a coding tutorial highlighting the wildly famous "Frozen" heroines, Elsa and Anna.
The tutorial was performed on the group's learning platform available online and used by an estimated 50,000 classrooms across the nation.
The "Frozen" coding project enabled girls and boys to join Elsa and Anna in making ice fractals, snowflakes and skating sequences with the aid of a visual editor "Blockly" that allowed kids to carry and drop blocks of cipher together to establish commands.
