Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370: FOUND Wing Part Confirmed To Belong To Missing Plane Wreckage ‘515 Days After Disappearance’

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 Update — Hope has reignited after the controversial airlines announced Thursday that the recently found piece of a plane wing belonged to the wreckage of the plane that has disappeared for on March 8, 2014.

In the official statement released by Malaysia Airlines regarding the wreckage piece that was obtained on an Indian Ocean island a week ago, the company maintained that it is with a "heavy heart" that the team of investigators confirmed that the recovered debris belonged to the missing flight MH370 plane, as per Reuters.

This is the first ever direct evidence that the missing plane crashed into the ocean, making it very difficult for the search operation teams to find its wreckage.

The wing fragment identified by authorities as flaperon was sent to mainland France, where prosecutors said they are still uncertain that it could be part of the missing Boeing 777 but added that what they made was a "very strong presumption."

Although it's good to know that there is now a clue on what really happened to the Malaysian Airlines flight MH370, the families of the 239 victims are still unaccepting of the evidence.

Jacquita Gonzales, the wife of Patrick Gomes who was on board the missing aircraft, said the discovery of the flaperon isn't the end of the search operation, according to CNBC.

"Although they found something, you know, it's not the end. They still need to find the whole plane and our spouses as well. We still want them back," she added.

The families of the Chinese passengers also echoed their insights on the discovery. One took to Weibo to write: "Even tho the bad news have been all over the place, we still held onto the slim hope. Today the Malaysian side ended the families' hope and expectation. Maybe this is the way to end the misery."

Nevertheless, Malaysia Airlines maintained that the recent discovery is very important because it has reignited their hope "in resolving the disappearance of MH370."

Amid the development in the quest to finding the wreckage of the Malaysian Airlines flight 370 are the many conspiracy theories that have resurfaced once again in an attempt to make a logical explanation of the aircraft's disappearance.

One of these theories claims that the Boeing 777 was apparently shut down during a military operation. This theory even states that the search for the plane was orchestrated in such a manner that the wreckage would never be found so that the US-Thai strike fighters would not be incriminated by the evidence, Mirror has learned.

Another Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 conspiracy theory states that the plane has gone missing because it was hijacked and flown to Afghanistan, with the passengers and crew still being held captive.

A Russian newspaper even ran a story claiming: "The plane was hijacked by unknown terrorists... The plane is in Afghanistan not far from Kandahar near the border with Pakistan."

There is also the much-talked about conspiracy theory that circulated social media and it claims that extraterrestrial life took the plane.

Despite making a buzz online, these conspiracy theories about the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 will remain to be opinionated stories and should be taken with a grain of salt (unless proven otherwise).
