'Suicide Squad' Cast UPDATE 2015: Jim Parrack Onboard David Ayer Film

"Suicide Squad" fans itching for updates, this is your day! Jim Parrack joins the David Ayer film.

Finally, it was unveiled that Jim Parrack will join "Suicide Squad" as one of Joker's henchman, Johnny Frost. His character was created for "Joker," a 2008 graphic novel illustrated by Lee Bermejo and written by Brian Azzarello.

It was rumored before that Jim Parrack will be on board, but actress Corina Calderon, who has a small role in David Ayer's "Suicide Squad," seemed to have affirmed the news on her Instagram post.

Although she has since deleted her post, probably realizing her blunder, she captioned her post: "All #HappyCamper on my way to set again, going earlier than my #CallTime just to be there and watch my boy Jim Parrack playing #JonnyFrost do his Thang #SuicideSquad," as per Batman News.

According to Comicbook.com, it's unclear who Corina Calderon will portray in "Suicide Squad" either. There were two names which surfaced though, either she plays Grace Choi, a member of Batman's Outsiders alongside Katana who's part of the "Suicide Squad" or Karin Grace, who served as the combat medic of the squads in its early missions.

Meanwhile, Viola Davis of "How To Get Away With Murder," portrays Amanda Waller, who was tasked to hire the villains for the mission of the government. The 49-year-old actress described "Suicide Squad" as a different type of superhero flick, as per International Business Times.

She told Slash Film, "I mean, you saw the trailer ... what you see is these superheroes have been humanized."

"That's what makes this kind of a different superhero movie."

In the trailer for "Suicide Squad," Davis' character talks about gathering a group of imprisoned felons and create a team of the "most dangerous people on the planet" in exchange for clemency from their crimes.

Thus "Suicide Squad" was formed, led by Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress.

"Suicide Squad" will hit theaters on Aug. 5, 2016.
