Macbook Air 2016 To Hit Stores In November? New Apple TV, iPads & iPhone 7 Still Expected T o Launch Next Month

Like other major tech firms, Apple will reportedly deviate from its traditional release cycle by debuting its upcoming devices, particularly the Macbook Air 2016 edition, at an earlier date.

Instead of the expected March 2016 release, the newest laptop model from the Cupertino-based tech firm could hit stores as early as November.

According to a report by Geek Snack, this move by Apple may have been brought on by the current trend among electronics companies. Samsung, for example, has reportedly decided to skip September's IFA event by debuting the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus this week.

Motorola also did the same thing by introducing the Moto X Style or Moto X Pure Edition in July instead of the following its traditional September launch.

With its rumored release set in November, tech fans can then expect Apple to unveil the Macbook Air 2016 sometime in October or possibly in September.

According to Reality Today, the upcoming device could be the cheapest laptop from Apple's Macbook line with an introductory price of $899. It will reportedly come in 13 and 15-inch size variants. The laptop's standard version will pack 4GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage. The premium variant, on the other hand, will have 8GB of RAM and 512 of SSD capacity.

But aside from the Macbook Air 2016, Apple is also expected to unveil other gadgets in September in the form of the iPhone 7, the iPad Pro and a new Apple TV.

As noted by Mac Rumors, Apple will hold a special event on Sept. 9, which will most likely center on its next flagship smartphone. According to rumors, the company will officially introduce the iPhone 7 and its Plus counterpart during the scheduled event.

Both models are expected to feature Force Touch technology and the upgraded A9 processor.

For Apple's other devices, the Sept. 9 event could also mark the launch of a new iPad model and the Apple TV. The former will sport a massive display at 12.9 inches while the latter is expected to come with new features that were not seen on its predecessor.

For one, the upcoming Apple TV will come with an updated A8 chipset as well as a remote control with touch support. The new version of the company's digital media player will also feature Siri, Apple's virtual assistant.
