Rockstar Goes Private At The 2015 Gamescom; A ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ Story DLC Or The Rumored ‘Agent’ Presentation?

Rockstar, developer of "Grand Theft Auto V," reportedly attended the 2015 Gamescom. Whether it made an announcement about the story-based DLC for the game or something else, wasn't made clear.

A YouTuber took a snap of Rockstar's logo during the event, only to find out that it was in the business and not in the public viewing area, as per the report of Gaming Bolt.

A Twitter user (@OlliHull) also uploaded a photo showing the company's logo, and cationed it, "Just so other YouTubers know. This is real at gamescom but it's in the business area."

"Not the public viewing area," he continued.

Rumor has it that the company's secret presence at the event was due to the single player DLC that many fans have been waiting for. Since it was released in 2013 and up to this point, "Grand Theft Auto V" still doesn't have that.

Many thought that the company, who spent most of its time expanding "Grand Theft Auto Online" by sending regular new content, will make the "GTA V" single player DLC debut at Gamescom in Germany. But apparently, it didn't.

So another speculation rose that they were there because of "Agent." Just before the 2015 E3, the company reportedly renewed the software product, Design & Trend learned.

The game, which features espionage, counter-intelligence and political assassination, was first announced in at the 2009 E3. The is reportedly comparable with "Assassin's Creed."

Could it be that the reboot footage of the "Agent" was shown? Rockstar is currently caught between two rumors — "Grand Theft Auto V" single player DLC or "Agent" — but as of this time, nothing has been confirmed.

"GTA V" was released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2013. It was followed by a PlayStation and Xbox One release in 2014 and a PC release in 2015, Game Spot reported.

"Grand Theft Auto V" reportedly released more than 52 million copies.
