Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's former nanny stayed out of the paparazzi's sight amid cheating controversies in a pretty luxurious hide out — the Hotel Bel-Air.
Christine Ouzounian, the 28-year-old hired by the A-list couple to watch over their children and is now the center of an extramarital scandal, was conveniently holed up at the posh hotel for days starting from July 29 to Aug. 4, in what appears to be an attempt in avoid the media, the Examiner reported.
The young woman, who had also previously worked for Neil Patrick Harris, kept a low profile for seven days at a price of $12,100, which is speculated to have been shouldered by no other than Ben Affleck to protect her from cameras.
It wasn't clear though who really paid for her stay since other reports suggested that the California-native could have footed the bill herself. But regardless who paid what, Ouzounian pretty much made the most of her extravagant "get-away."
"Christine is enjoying her hotel stay," an eyewitness told People "she acts like she is on vacation. She has been spotted by the pool several times, the spa and Wolfgang Puck's restaurant. She seems relaxed and happy. She hangs out with girlfriends, reads magazines and is on her phone a lot."
Apparently though, the ex-nanny realized that she can't hide for too long and has decided to resurface after days of lying low.
Ouzounian chose to finally break her silence on social media by posting a flattering paparazzi snap of herself and quoting the Alicia Keys lyric: "She's just a girl and she's on fire," Entertainment Tonight reported on Monday.
Despite reports that the ex-nanny told her friends that she and Affleck slept together, the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor's camp denied any romantic involvement with Ouzounian saying he only had a "work relationship and a friendship" with the blonde beauty, adding, "Ben's friendly, but it's not always meant to be flirty."
