Terrence Howard’s Ex-Wife Had Him By The Balls? ‘Empire’ Star Settles Divorce Over Fears Of Sex Video Scandal Leak

Terrence Howard's ex-wife Michelle Ghent reportedly had him by the balls after she threatened the "Empire" Star to leak his sex video scandal just to extort some money from him. At a hearing on Tuesday, Howard's lawyer revealed that the 46-year-old actor agreed to a 2012 divorce settlement following his ex-wife's threats.

Because of fears over his ex-wife's threats that she would leak the private details of his sex life, Terrence Howard agreed to the divorce settlement terms dictated by Michelle Ghent. According to USA Today, attorney Brian Kramer said his client (Howard) would play Ghent's audio recording of making the threat and present other evidence showing her "heavy-handed acts of extortion and blackmail."

On July 11, Terrence Howard squared off in court with ex-wife Michelle Ghent and the first witness was the actor's sister-in-law, Yvonne Howard. TMZ reported that her testimony about a threesome sex tape, which was allegedly used to extort money from Howard, was read out loud.

Terrence Howard is trying to overturn the divorce settlement he signed under duress, which gave Ghent several bank accounts and left Howard with responsibility for several debts including tax liens. He claimed that his ex-wife held sex tapes and photos to blackmail him for more support than she was entitled to receive. As reported, Michelle got $5,800 a month for 3 years while they were only married for a year.

The alleged threesome was quite odd because the testimony only referred to one female engaged with Terrence and the other female was filming.

Meanwhile, Ghent's lawyers said she denied the allegations during a deposition. Ghent has accused Howard of domestic violence and is also seeking money she said is owed under their divorce settlement, which called for Howard to pay his wife a share of his earnings in spousal support.

On Tuesday, Judge Thomas Trent Lewis ruled Tuesday that Ghent's testimony will be limited because she did not file certain pleadings before the hearing. The judge added Terrence Howard could only present evidence of duress and extortion attempts that happened outside of the pair's mediation in 2012.

Terrence Howard and Michelle Ghent were married in 2010. Unfortunately, Ghent filed for divorce a year later. And the ex-couple's dispute has prompted 20th Century Fox, which produces "Empire," to seek guidance on where to send Howard's "Empire" earnings, Daily Mail noted.
