Rovio confirms Amazing Alex coming to PC, Mac, and Windows Phone

Rovio, the developer of the spectacular game series Angry birds recently launched a new game called Amazing Alex. The new game is a physics-based puzzle and is available on Android's Play Store and Apple's App Store already. And on June 12, the company confirmed the latest game will launch on PC, Mac, and Windows Phone very soon.

In a Twitter post on the company's official Amazing Alex account, a spokesperson revealed versions for PC, Mac, and Windows Phone "are to come later, post launch!"

According to TheVerge reports, "it is not immediately clear whether Rovio will simply take advantage of Windows Phone 8's improved native code and DirectX support, or whether the game will be available to existing Windows Phone 7.5 users."

Rovio previously committed to bringing its games to Windows Phone "as soon as possible," revealing that it is working with Nokia on "innovative new consumer products and content exclusive for Nokia Lumia smartphones." That could mean that Amazing Alex may arrive as a Nokia Windows Phone exclusive, similar to PGA Tour and ESPN.

Talking about the game features, Rovio has included a total of 35 interactive objects that can be used to create a Rube Goldberg device to solve challenges via a chain reaction. Amazing Alex has a total of 100 levels and each level can be solved in more than one way. Along with the 100 existing levels, users can set up their own levels in order to challenge their friends. They can share the levels they build as well as the solutions with others.
