Did Lamar Odom attack ex-wife Khloe Kardashian because of her new lover James Harden?
Early Wednesday morning, Khloe Kardashian reportedly screamed for her life after estranged husband Lamar Odom blindsided her outside a gym in Beverly Hills, California. According to TMZ, 31-year-old Kardashian was on her way to SoulCycle studio when Odom appeared and assaulted her.
Upon seeing ex-hubby Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian reportedly kept walking away until Odom grabbed her arm and she started screaming.
"Get off of me, get off of me," she reportedly shouted, as per People. "Stop! Stop!" And when a concerned eyewitnesses asked the reality TV star if she wanted to call the cops, Odom allegedly responded, "You're not going to call the cops on Lamar Odom."
Eventually, Khloe Kardashian yelled at her former husband Lamar Odom and asked him how he even knew where to find her before driving away, New York Daily News noted.
Khloe Kardashian and 35-year-old Lamar Odom tied the knot in 2009 after a month of dating. Unfortunately, Kardashian filed for divorce in December 2013 after his substance abuse problems relapse and reported infidelity. And on July 21, the exes officially signed off the divorce papers after it lay dormant for over a year. Now, they are waiting for a judge to sign off their freedom.
Despite the finalization of their divorce, Khloe Kardashian has only nice words to say about her ex Lamar Odom, Us Weekly reported. In the August/September issue of Complex Magazine, she opened up about their painful separation.
"Lamar is genuinely one of the best people I've ever met, and everyone says that when they meet him. I think Lamar's going to always be that person [for me] but that's what made it so special," she told the mag. "I definitely miss it, and there's times I'll get so sentimental and so sad, but this had to happen for some reason. I'll figure it out over time, someone will give me that answer eventually."
Meanwhile, Lamar Odom's attack came after Khloe Kardashian publicly came out with her new lover James Harden on Sunday. Daily Mail reported that the 25-year-old NBA superstar accompanied the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star to her sister Kylie Jenner's 18th birthday celebration at The Nice Guy and Bootsy Bellows nightclub in L.A. Although they already publicly went out, they are still reportedly keeping their relationship low-key.
