Sage Stallone's Cousin Lashes Out at Sylvester Stallone Over Facebook

The late Sage Stallone's cousin, Edd Filiti, reportedly dealt a few blows via Facebook against Sylvester Stallone, for reportedly abandoning his son.

Filiti, 18, said Sage tried to contact his father to wish him a happy birthday earlier this month, but that he never contacted him back. Celebuzz reports that the messages were posted on Facebook and then removed.

"What did he do wrong, say happy birthday," Filiti reportedly wrote. "Neither you [Stallone's wife Jennifer Flavin] or he could return a phone call, which is all he wanted, his father. I know you don't care what happened, but you'll care when you're squirming under the burning magnifying glass of public opinion."

Filiti is the son of Stallone's half-sister, Toni Ann.

Refusing to hold his tongue, Filiti continued, "Jennifer Flavin, you won. You tore this family apart and got your trophy, Congrats!" Filiti added, "Like you told my family, 'I'm Sly's family now, he doesn't need you anymore.' Let's see how much he needs you after this."

The messages come as plans for Sage's funeral is being finalized after he was found dead at home by his housekeeper. Despite a performed autopsy, the cause of death is not to be announced for a while.

Sage's burial will take place at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Los Angeles.

Sylvester Stallone has asked for personal space in this difficult time.

"This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives," Stallone said. "Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace."
