At the MWC 2012 besides smartphone launches, tablets were also one of the categories that gained prominence at the show. And one of the tablets which stole the spotlight was Huawei's MediaPad 10 FHD, which was positioned by the company as the "Lighter, Thinner and More Powerful" tablet among all others pouring in the Android market. At that time, Huawei did not share any information on the exact price info or release date of MediaPad 10 FHD tablet, although, the company just mentioned that the tablet would be available globally from the 2nd quarter of this year.
Since then Huawei has remained silent on the same, however recently, Yu Chengdong, Senior Vice President of Huawei, has taken to Weibo (Twitter-like service in China) to update consumers on the price and release date of the tablet. According to Unwired View reports citing the quotes of the official, the tablet will make its debut in China in August, with the price expected to be less than 3,000 CNY ($470).
