Robin William's widow and three adult children are bound to bring their clashing claims to the deceased comedian's estate in court if they would not be able to settle their dispute until August 28, a court order mandates.
The issue rose when Susan Schneider Williams filed for the necessary legal request to increase the support she is getting from her husband's estate. The said documents filed by Schneider alleged that the trustees of the estate have provided for the calculations of the value of their Tiburon property in Californina as well as its associated expenses which she has been shouldering but complained that the trustees never mentioned to her how they came up with that number, Los Angeles Times reported. Meanwhile TMZ wrote that the widow did not mention a specific amount.
In a legal document, William's children Cody, Zelda and Zachary Williams responded that their father's widow is only seeking more than what was discussed in the trustee agreement and alleged that Schneider Williams was only "seeking to increase her share of the trust assets at the expense of the Williams children", as further reported by the Los Angeles Times.
According to Reuters, attorneys of the comedian's ascendants alleged that Susan opted to obtain a "guaranteed income stream" by filing said petition in court. They also contended that Schneider is not permitted to do so whether the basis is under the trust agreement or her petition in court.
Schneider and Robin Williams shared said property in Tiburon where the latter was found dead August last year. Police reports showed that the famous comedian committed suicide in the said mansion. The property was onerously left to Schneider under the terms of the late actor's will.
The famous comic actor had his three children even before his 2011 wedding with now widow Schneider Williams.
