Fresh from his win for Choice TV: Chemistry, in the recent Teen Choice Award with co-actor Jensen Ackles, "Supernatural" actor Misha Collins survived a mugging incident in Minneapolis, where the show held its 10th anniversary assembly.

Collins, who portrayed the role of the angel Castiel in the hit CW show "Supernatural," was reportedly mugged outside a Minneapolis restaurant while he was in town to grace the show's convention.

According to E! News, Collins' fellow star Jim Beaver, who played the role of Bobby Singer, wrote about the incident in a post on his Facebook page which was later deleted.

Beaver wrote, "My buddy and 'Supernatural' colleague Misha Collins was followed out of a restaurant in Minneapolis by three men last night and beaten and robbed."

"He's all right, more or less, with some stitches and a fat lip."

Daily News reported the 41-year-old Collins did not obtain any severe injuries. He took to Twitter to thank the fans' support about his condition. He wrote, "Hey guys! Thanks for all the well-wishes! Just want u to know I've just got some minor scrapes. I'm totally fine! Love u guys."

More than 13,000 “Supernatural” fans retweeted his update and before hitting 5 hours since his tweet came out, it has been favorited over 24,000 times.
