"Jane the Virgin" is a CW comedy TV series which debuted in 2014. It's a funny story where Jane was mistakenly artificially inseminated by her OB-Gyne when she had her check-up.
Things then take a turn as Jane was caught in a dilemma if she would carry the baby to full term which she eventually did as seen on the finale of Season 1 where her newborn baby was taken from the hospital by someone impersonating a nurse.
The Detroit News reported that lead star Gina Rodriguez commented about the said cliffhanger of "Jane the Virgin" Season 1. She said, "We're going to resolve that really quickly."

1. Jane Villanueva is getting hitched after having baby Mateo.
The 31-year-old actress said that she was also eager to find out what happens to her character Jane in Season 2. She also revealed that she's going to do a lot of motherhood chores and will get married. As to who between Rafael and Michael, it has yet to be revealed as Season 2 progresses.

2. Britney Spears is coming over the CW series and will portray a guest role.
Jennie Snyder Urman, CW showrunner for "Jane the Virgin" dished out deets about the popstar's character.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Urman said, "We've got Britney Spears. We're just so excited, and I'm still freaking out." Spears' role has a relation to music and an exaggeration of herself.
Urman revealed she and her team concocted a character that Spears adored — an adversary of Jaime Camil's Rogelio de la Vega. Jane Villanueva's biological father, as per International Business Times.
The "Pretty Girls" singer will be seen in Season 2 episode 5 of "Jane the Virgin."
3. There will be relationships that will get highlighted within the show.
Bustle reported Diane Guerrero , who played Lina, Jane's best friend shared some juicy information about "Jane the Virgin" Season 2. However, she provided emojis, which will be exciting to decipher. In one of her emojis, there were pairings of "girl, boy," "boy, boy" and "girl, girl." It would probably focus on relationships among the characters such as Jane and Michael or Jane and Rafael, Rogelio and his first wife, Michael and Rafael, and Jane and Lina.
