‘Linsanity’ is BACK: Jeremy Lin Signs With Charlotte Hornets, Ditches Lakers


Jeremy Lin is coming to Charlotte. After his less than fortunate one year stint with Los Angeles Lakers, the basketball superstar is now ready to move on and continue playing.

The Harvard University product may be recalled for starting a a storm during 2012 that was dubbed as "Linsanity." As reported by the The Charlotte Observer, Lin is now being groomed to be the Charlotte Hornets' starting point guard to help the load off star player, Kemba Walker.

Known for his strong Christian faith, Lin has stated that Christianity have helped him through the ups and downs of his colorful basketball career. After his departure from the New York Knicks, the storm caused by Lin have since died down which led many to believe that "Linsanity" is over as told by Indie Social.

Despite the many criticisms he receives, Lin is still actually playing above average, at least if you look at the statistics. Contributing 15 points and 5 assists per game, Lin also boasts a 44 percent shooting percent from the field.

Ever his own strongest critic, Lin has stated that "I can't promise next season will go well," and further added according to Indiesocal. "As badly as I want it to go perfectly, I know it could also be a disaster. But the one thing I can promise is that God's bigger and better than anything that can happen."

As per NBC News, Jeremy Lin's younger brother, Joseph Lin, has been reported to sign a semi-pro deal with Taiwan's Super Basketball League team, Fubon Braves. His big brother Jeremy showed nothing but support and even posted a tweet boasting the signing of Joseph.

According to Chris Tsai. General Manager of the Fubon Braves, Joseph Lin exhibited "high basketball IQ" and "exceptional poise."
