The London-born actor nearly had a run in with death while filming Netflix's "Beast of No Nation" when he lost his footing while leaning on a tree overlooking a waterfall in the heart of Ghana's jungles.   1. "Beast of No Nations" - written and directed by Cary Fukunaga, the film is described by IMDb as a war drama based on the journey of a child soldier, Agu, who gets recruited by "the commandant" played by Idris Elba into his army of young soldiers battling in an unnamed African country's civil war. The movie will be available in the U.S on Oct. 16.
