Car lovers are already dubbing the new Chevrolet sports car as the "Muscle Car." But is it really worth the hype? Or, does it not have enough to offer in the market to give Ford Mustang a run for the money?

The American automaker has redesigned its Camaro to make it lighter but more powerful than its predecessors all thanks to its turbocharged engines, The biggest change in the new car is the presence of 1LT, 2LT, 1SS and 2SS trim levels only, as noted by TechNewsToday.com.

There will be two models for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, the LT and SS. The former is said to sport an all-new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that has the capacity to offer 275 horsepower to the vehicle. On the other hand, the SS will come with an all-new 6.2-liter LT1 V-8 engine that has been rated to give of 455 horsepower and a torque of 455 foot-pounds.

The LT models offer 30MPG on the highway and takes less than six seconds to go from zero-60mph. If this isn't enough, there is also the optional 3.6-liter V-6 engine option for the LT, and it gives off 335 horsepower and a torque of 284 foot-pounds.

Other outstanding features that will come as standard with the new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro include the OnStar 4G LTE, Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi hotspot, rear camera and a driver mode selector. Pricing is expected to be at $26,695 for the entry level, while the V-6 and V-8 models will be available at $28,190 and $37,295, respectively.

Given its features, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is expected to do well in the market. After all, it has managed to beat the Ford Mustang for five year now. NSEAVOICE even noted that the Camaro will as usual offer better performance than its top competitor from its Dearborn, Michigan-headquartered automaker rival.

"The all-new 2016 Camaro builds on what made the Camaro the segment leader for five years," Camaro marketing manager Todd Christensen said, "It will reset the bar in the segment with even greater levels of performance, new technologies not found on any other car in the segment, and more choices that enable customers to take personalization farther than ever before."
