“Real Housewives of New York” Heather Thomson has finally divulged her reasons for not signing on for another season in Bravo TV’s reality show. With extra time in her hands, focusing on her multi-million empire would be much easier.
Entertainment Tonight had an exclusive interview with the 45-year-old “RHONY” star on Tuesday and she confirmed that she’s not going to be a part of “Real Housewives of New York” when it comes back for another season. Heather Thomson explained that filming for the much talked about Bravo show was eating her time from running her enterprise, Yummie by Heather Thomson, a fashion brand. Most importantly, she said it took a toll on her capacity to spend quality time with her family.
She admitted, "The reality of it that I just can't do it anymore."
"I have to focus on the things that are really, really important in my life and that's my family and my business.”
Thomson signed on to “Real Housewives of New York” three years ago. The successful businesswoman said that the third year made her realize her place with her other #RHONY co-stars. "There was a beginning, middle and end for everything, and for me, that was the end," she shared.
Furthermore, Thomson stated that she had no regrets about her #RHONY stint and it actually made her “wiser.” The chance and experience that she acquired from the Bravo show was “amazing."
Meanwhile, BFF and “Real Housewives of New York” cast mate Carole Radziwill told US Weekly that she understood Heather Thomson’s decision to walk away from the show. She said, “She just knew it was time to move on.”
Radziwill continued that she and her best pal shared some “really good times” throughout the show and that Thomson will always be a part of her life.
Thomson now plans to focus on her job as a mom and as an entrepreneur running her Yummie by Heather Thomson company after her stint with Bravo TV’s “Real Housewives of New York”
