“The Originals” Season 3 cast update revealed New Orleans will have another hot guy who will create a stir within Klaus’ territory when the CW “The Vampire Diaries” spinoff premieres.
“Veronica Mars” Jason Dohring, widely recognized for his portrayal of Logan Echolls is set to make his first appearance as a human, Detective Kinney, in “The Originals” Season 3 episode 1.
The Hollywood Reporter dished creator Julie Plec revealed Jason Dohring’s character is “decidedly human.” His character will be a “nice breath of fresh air” amid the coming of The Trinity — Mikaelsons’ sire lines. Detective Kinney will arrive in vampire turf to investigate a crime that happened. Dohring’s character will be working hand in hand with some of “The Originals” character especially Cami who’s the only human involved with the supernatural beings in New Orleans.
Will he make a move on Cami? We’ll have to wait and see. Plec said fans will have to stay tuned if he knows something about the people he’s dealing with and what the repercussions might be if he ever digs too deep.
Fans have a lot of questions that need answers when “The Originals” Season 3 returns. One of the most widely discussed theories of what might be the direction of the upcoming season would be Klaus’ relationship with Cami. How will Klaus react if Detective Kinney makes a move on Cami? And what about Hayley, will she confront Klaus for what he has done to her and her wolf pack? The excitement just gets higher.
TV Line got hold of “The Originals” stars Phoebe Tonkin and Leah Pipes on the set of the CW drama to get more details about what will happen to their characters in Season 3. Their revelations will blow your mind.
First off, Pipes said that the scene where Klaus and Cami almost kissed in the finale of Season 2 was “embarrassing," and added, “I think she was really ready for them to have their first kiss, but then he totally ditched. I mean, bailed. Just walked right out of the room.” She also remarked that Cami might not be pining for Klaus. We’ll see about that.
As for Hayley, Tonkin said that Hope’s mama is still “furious” with daddy Klaus for the “awful thing he’s done to the mother of his child.”
“The Originals” Season 3 will premiere with a time jump of six months and it will show the significance of Dahlia’s curse on Hayley and her pack. Tonkin continued that it’s imperative for viewers to grasp how damaging Klaus’ decision to urge Dahlia to cast a spell on the wolves.
That being said, expect Klaus and Hayley to have a major confrontation when “The Originals” Season 3 returns on Oct. 8, Thursday on CW.
