Kate Middleton, Prince William Divorce POSTPONED? Shocking Retirement Of Queen Elizabeth II Infuriates Prince Charles [RUMORS]

Kate Middleton, Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II are currently the world's most talked-about royals as reports about them have been incessantly circulating. And the latest news claimed the longest reigning monarch is allegedly giving up her throne and will crown the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as the King and Queen of Britain.

The latest royal news came amid Kate Middleton and Prince William's divorce reports, the Duchess' return to the spotlight after her reclusive maternity leave and Queen Elizabeth's celebration of becoming the longest reigning monarch. According to Hollywood Life, the report claimed that the 89-year-old Queen wanted to pass the throne on the royal couple, who are in the middle of separation rumors. Perhaps, it's the Queen's way to intervene and save their failing marriage.

Moreover, Queen Elizabeth, who became a Queen at 25, apparently wanted her son Prince Charles to snub the Sept. 9 celebration so she could completely skip an heir and give the throne to her 33-year-old grandson Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, who were completely shocked over the Queen's decision.

"They're stunned," a palace source said. "The idea of having Charles step aside for the good of the monarchy had been whispered about, but they never believed it would happen... When Kate found out, the first thing she did was call her mom and dad. They are absolutely overwhelmed."

Unfortunately, the shocking turn of events in the royal family infuriated Prince Charles, the next in line to the throne, since he was bypassed by her own mother and crowned his son Prince William and daughter-in-law Kate Middleton as the next King and Queen. In addition, the upcoming $1 billion coronation will reportedly take place in April 2016, as hinted by this week's cover of Ok! Magazine.

"It has been a tough pill to swallow for Charles," an insider said, as per Celeb Dirty Laundry. "He has spent his whole life waiting to succeed his mother. He initially flew into a rage, ranting that the throne is his. But, then he began to see her way of thinking."

The coronation report, however, is totally a "royal lie." Gossip Cop reported that a Buckingham Palace spokesperson denied the news, claiming the story as untrue since Queen Elizabeth is not giving up the throne.

"A Buckingham Palace spokesperson exclusively tells Gossip Cop that no such claim was ever confirmed," the celeb news site wrote. "More importantly, there are no plans for the Queen, who became England's longest reigning monarch on Wednesday, to step down or for Prince William to become king instead of Prince Charles."

Meanwhile, 33-year-old Kate Middleton was reportedly receiving the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II, which is the highest honor that can be given to a female member of the royal family, Hello! Magazine revealed. The Order serves as a personal memento and not a state decoration, however, it can still be worn during state occasions.

In other news, Kate Middleton and Prince William are reportedly facing some marital problems. Design&Trend noted the Duchess' reclusiveness since giving birth in May and Queen Elizabeth's intervention to save their marriage have further ignited the speculations. But these reports remain unconfirmed and the Duchess will resume her royal duties this week following her four-month maternity leave.
