NBA Trade Rumors: Knicks Likely To Trade Carmelo Anthony? Morris, Rubio & Anthony Bennett To Follow?

The NBA season have yet to start but trade rumors are going abound.

As reported by Sports Illustrated, although the free agency moves has slowed down since the summer, NBA teams are still preparing for the upcoming 2015-2016 season.

With the salary cap at an all time high of $70 million next season, teams are more than willing to spend money on quality players.

According to the Inquistr, there are rumors that Phoenix Sun's Markieff Moris is demanding a trade from his team, however, the request was reportedly denied.

Earlier reports in the NBA off season stated that Morris was traded to the Detroit Pistons along with a package of other players. The team was reportedly trying to dump salary in order to pursue star forward LaMarcus Aldridge.

As it turns out, the move was futile but the Suns managed to snag former Defensive Player of The Year and one time NBA champion, Tyson Chandler.

Morris played well for the Suns last season by starting all 82 games. He averaged 31.5 minutes per game and recorded 15.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game — statistics that are very good from a power forward.

Bleacher Report recently made an article that features NBA players that are likely to be traded during the training camp.

Among them is Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio. Considered before as a potential franchise player, the young guard is reportedly getting shopped by his team due to his nagging injuries and horrible jump shots.

Another player from the Timberwolves is Anthony Bennett. The former number one draft pick is also on the verge of being traded due to an unproductive season.

But the biggest shocker is Knicks franchise player Carmelo Anthony. Just last year, he was one of the most prospected player during the free agency period. But with a bad season last year and progressing age, the Knicks may consider trading their prized forward.
