The hype over HTC's upcoming One A9 was an all-time high when it was leaked that the Taiwanese manufacturer is releasing a mid-range smartphone with above average specs. However, the hype may have been affected when the smartphone's battery was revealed.

The HTC One A9, codenamed Aero, was previously rumored to be released to the public's eyes and scrutiny in October. However, Android Central has learned that the tidbit bears no truth, and the new device is targeted for a November release.

Avid leaker Evan Blass took to Twitter on Monday to reveal to consumers the specs and features of HTC One A9. According to Blass, the new smartphone is going to come with a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display.

The 7mm thick mobile device is also expected to have 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory. In terms of camera technology, the mid-range smartphone will flaunt a 13-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization and a 4-ultrapixel front shooter, GSM Arena has learned.

The metal-clad HTC One A9 will also offer a good competition in the mid-range smartphone market since it will come with a fingerprint scanner and expandable storage.

Though the new handset will not be released until November, consumers will get a first look at the new HTC smartphone when it debuts alongside HTC's Butterfly 3 on Sept. 29.

HTC's One A9, which will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, is expected to hit shelves in six different colors.

Though the HTC One A9 is reported to impress consumers for having Android 6.0 out of the box as per TechnoBuffalo, it may also disappoint smartphone users and enthusiasts who are after an affordable device with good battery. HTC's upcoming mid-ranger sports 2,150 mAh battery, which may not be enough to attract people who are very particular with their device's longevity.
