"Blindspot" Season 1 is the upcoming NBC conspiracy thriller drama featuring "Thor" actress Jaimie Alexander as Jane Doe and "300: Rise of an Empire" star Sullivan Stapleton as FBI Agent Kurt Weller. It will depict the story of a heavily tattooed woman (Alexander), whose ink is the key to some elaborate conspiracy that will bring several action-packed adventures, Huffington Post noted.
One of the newest television shows to premiere this fall, "Blindspot" Season 1 will definitely excite and fascinate not to mention attract many viewers because of its unique and untypical premise. It will also spark curiosity in viewers with keen and inquisitive minds as each clues from Jane Doe's tattoos start to unravel its mysteries in order to solve a crime.
As "Blindspot" Season 1 is set to premiere on Sept. 21 at 10 p.m. on NBC, here are 5 latest scoops we've learned about the upcoming conspiracy thriller drama after its pilot episode was leaked a month ago.
1. Jane Doe and Agent Weller get a little intimate during their first meeting in "Blindspot" Season 1.
The first scene of the series involved a duffel bag left in the middle of Times Square. According to Tattoodo, that's where Jane Doe came from. FBI Agent Kurt Weller was then called to meet the tattooed woman who has his name inked on her body. That's when things get a little too intimate.
2. A tattoo behind Doe's ear suggest the "Devil language?"
One of the languages used in the series was Wenzhounese, a dialect from Southeast China. However, it is believed to be so complicated that it was used for codes during the World War II. It is also called as the "Devil Language."
3. "Blindspot" boss drops clues on Doe's tattoos.
Since the series is the beginning of a giant treasure hunt, each tattoo inked across Doe's body contains a riddle that needs to be solve before unlocking the mystery of her identity. And Entertainment Weekly revealed the show enlisted the help of New York Times puzzle expert David Kwong to ensure the puzzles are solvable by both average and diehard audiences.
"It's not just lip service," executive producer Martin Gero said. "These are actual clues and codes that if the audience wants to pause and think about it, it's actually something they can [decipher]. Everything has a meaning. Everything is part of an incredibly complicated backstory — and the reasoning to do it this way is actually pretty sound even though it seems totally crazy. Nothing on her body was put haphazardly."

"Blindspot" Season 1's timeslot will be competing against ABC's "Castle" and CBS' "NCIS: New Orleans." However, E! News noted that the series still has a chance to compete despite being a new show because the mystery is instantly compelling and very easy to get into.
