'The Last Witch Hunter': 'Fast And Furious 7' Actor Vin Diesel Debuts His Facial Hair In Latest Trailer [WATCH VIDEO]

Vin Diesel's much awaited movie, "The Last Witch Hunter" nears its showing and just recently Lionsgate released its latest trailer which debuted the "Fast and Furious 7" actor's facial hair.

According to the Den of Geek, Vin Diesel's "The Last Witch Hunter" was targeted for a sequel treatment by Lionsgate, but, it will have to do well when it gets released in autumn. The "Fast and Furious 7" actor stars alongside, Michael Caine, Rose Leslie and Elijah Wood. Breck Eisner who helmed the remake of "The Crazies" directed the action-fantasy-adventure.

"The Last Witch Hunter's" plotline detailed that witches still exist in the modern world; the bad ones intend to unleash the Black Death. Kaulder, Vin Diesel's character, a valiant witch hunter was able to slay the Queen Witch but right before her demise, she cursed Kaulder with her own immortality. In present day, Kaulder is the last of his kind and has hunted down witches who have gone rogue over the last centuries, while yearning for his family who was separated from him as part of the curse of the Queen Witch. However, he has no idea that she's resurrected and is seeking revenge.

IGN described the title for the trailer of "The Last Witch Hunter" was called "Awakening" and featured a cover of the classic song "Paint It Black" by Rolling Stones recorded by Ciara for the movie. Aside from the latest video clip, a fresh poster was also released by Lionsgate.

Meanwhile, Vin Diesel's hairy appearance was a big departure from his burly, bald-headed image in "Fast and Furious" franchise. Fans were in for a surprise when the actor debuted a lot of facial hair that made up the rugged beard paired with a ferocious hairdo, as per Cinemablend.

This change in Vin Diesel was because of the flashbacks in "The Last Witch Hunter" wherein Rose Leslie brings him to the "dream world." In the rest of the scenes, he looks like the regular Vin Diesel that viewers loved driving behind the wheels of a fast car.

"The Last Witch Hunter" debuts in cinemas on Oct. 23, 2015.
