“America’s Next Top Model” Cycle 22 said goodbye to Ashley Molina last Wednesday. Now, the eliminated model hopeful has opened up about her “ANTM” experience and shared her honest thoughts about her stay at Tyra Banks’ CW reality series. Below are five of the things she revealed.
1. She's not rooting for a specific model
When Ashley did an interview with Gossip & Gab fresh from her "ANTM" Cycle 22 elimination, she admitted that she is not rooting for a specific someone from the remaining model hopefuls to win the competition. She said, "I'm rooting for everyone, honestly. I love my cast!"
2. Ashley still keeps in touch with her fellow "ANTM" contestants
Last week, Ashley was sent home after failing to pull off the acting challenge with Devin who was a joker during the rehearsal, as per CelebDirtyLaundry.
And she also failed to impress the judges with her "too realistic" make-out shoot with Nyle for the ridiculously titled "Boom Boom Boom" ad. Despite what happened, Ashley claimed that she keeps "in touch with everyone" and that includes Devin, who may have been the reason why she got booted out of the modelling competition.
On Sunday, Ashley even took to Instagram to share a snap with Devin, and her caption even stated that she had fun with the latter. However, Mikey, who is part of the in-house meanies, is noticeably absent in the photo.

Nonetheless, the day the episode where she got eliminated aired, Ashley did not forget her BFFs inside the "ANTM" house. She even captioned a pic showing herself and the two male models: "I gained so much from this competition. The advice from @tyrabanks IS SO DAMN PRICELESS"
She added, "And the friendships I gained I can be nothing but grateful. @devinljclark @murdasworld although not shown in the show they guided me in so many ways and help me boost my confidence in modeling. I wouldn't have traded this experience for anything."
3. She revealed that she had a tough time at the competition
Despite having Mikey and Devin around, Ashley admitted that she still had a tough time in the modelling competition since it was hard for her not to be with her family and friends. She told Gossip & Gab, "Not having someone close to you during the competition is tough. It's always comforting hearing from people who want to see you keep being the best you that you can be."
4. She looks up to Coco Rocha and "ANTM" Cycle 3 winner Eva Marcille
The 5'7" model dished that her inspiration to do what she does and engage in the fashion industry is Canadian model Coco Rocha. "Coco Rocha's poses inspire me and she helps me find new angles that look good for my body," she said.
Ashly also admitted that her favorite previous contestant on Tyra Bank's long-running modelling competition is Eva Marcille having watched all previous cycles. "I have watched all the seasons and each cycle has more and more amazing models. But Eva is my favorite," the newly eliminated "ANTM" contestant said.
5. Her elimination came as a surprise to her
Though she admitted that the acting challenge got the best of her, Ashley revealed that she was not expecting to be eliminated from the competition this early. "It was a surprise to me because I thought I did really well during the commercial," she said. Despite this, the "ANTM" Cycle 22 eliminated contestant still wants to continue modelling.
"ANTM" Cycle 22 airs every Wednesday night on The CW.
