Usually, car makers wait at least five to seven years before they unveil a new model or at least give it a "mid-cycle refresh." But Nissan decided to go against the norm and that the 2016 Nissan Altima will receive a major overhaul, almost like a new model.

As for its EPA ratings, the Altima will clock in 27 MPG for city and 38 for highway, with a total average of 32.5 MPG.
