Paul Walker's Kin Sues Porsche Over 'Fast And Furious' Star's Vehicular-caused Death

Paul Walker may already be gone for two years now but his daughter is still looking for justice.

As reported by CTV News, Paul's daughter, Meadow Rain Walker, has filed a lawsuit against Porsche. The suit seeks unspecified damages for defects that her lawyers claim ended the late actor's life.

Paul Walker and driver Roger Rodas died when their Porsche Carrero GT spun out of control, hit some trees and burst into flames on a street in Santa Clarita, California.

The lawsuit stated that, "Absent these defects in the Porsche Carrera GT, Paul Walker would be alive today."

As noted, the 18-page lawsuit includes a detailed account of the crash and contends that the Porsche was travelling in an estimated 70 MPH when it spun out of control. However, investigators have concluded the car was going as far as 93 MPH when it crashed.

People has reported that Meadow's lawyers also claim that the Porsche Carrera GT that Paul used "lacked safety features ... that could have prevented the accident or, at a minimum, allowed Paul Walker to survive the crash."

Meadow's lawyers also stated that despite Porsche "knowing that the Carrera GT had a history of instability and control issues," the company "failed to install its electronic stability control system," which they say is "specifically designed to protect against the swerving actions inherent in hyper-sensitive vehicles of this type."

To summarize the case, Meadow Walker's lawyer Milam stated that, "The Porsche Carrera GT is a dangerous car. It doesn't belong on the street. And we shouldn't be without Paul Walker or his friend, Roger Rodas."

In a related report by USA Today, the lawsuit did not put a specific figures on the damages.

Meadow Walker, meanwhile, announced on Instagram the creation of "The Paul Walker Foundation" that will provide grants and scholarships to students and researchers pursuing marine science education.
