‘Final Fantasy 15': 5 Features, Details & Updates We Know So Far

"Final Fantasy 15" fans had been waiting for this installment for a very long time — an almost 10-year wait. The information and updates about this game are scarce, but here are some details that we know so far.

1. "Final Fantasy 15" Release Date

"Certainly, one thing I would like to say to them to reassure them, is that we've set down the release date, we know when it is, and we've got a complete road map lined up, right up to launch, and we're proceeding along that as planned," game director Hajime Tabata reportedly said, Inquisitr learned.

"We can certainly say to people: it's not going to be 2017," the director continued. "It's going to be before that."

2. Custom Soundtrack

Tabata reportedly wanted to allow custom soundtracks, but it was overruled because of the strict copyright rules in Europe. According to Techno Buffalo, the game director said Japan and North America, pertaining to such ideas, are less strict.

Square Enix is reportedly going to include driving soundtrack tunes from previous "Final Fantasy" games.

3. Female Characters

Tabata reportedly included two female characters in the game, Luna and Gentiana. Luna's character is strong and well-respected.

She uses her powers to repel a curse — Plague of the Star — that will make the planet be cloaked in the night forever. In the demo, as the night grows longer, Luna grows weaker.

Luna and her assistant, Gentiana, will reportedly join the party as guest characters.

4. Seamless Travel Across Regions

Tabata said that "Final Fantasy 15" players would be able to travel from one region to another, seamlessly, as long as they are connected. Gaming Bolt found out, via Gearnuke, that there could be possible loading times if the players go to a distant, unconnected region on the world map.

5. Some Of The "Final Fantasy 15" Trailers

"Final Fantasy 15" will be released on PS4 and Xbox One.
