'Deadpool': Blake Lively's Husband Ryan Reynolds Pilfers Hero Costume

The "Deadpool" movie was finally made after years of trying to bring it to the big screen, with Ryan Reynolds to star as the hero.

Though Reynolds got to play the hero briefly in the 2009 movie "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," a solo movie for "Deadpool" is still the ultimate dream-come-true for the actor.

As reported by Cinema Blend, with Reynolds' incessant campaigning for the movie and an animated test footage being leaked online, the movie studio finally budged and decided to make a full-length "Deadpool" movie.

Reynolds said in an interview that once "Deadpool's" principal shooting is finished, he'll take home the Deadpool costume. A prop he always wanted and said, "I loved wearing it and I have run away with one — I'll probably get into trouble for saying that, but I've waited 10 years to do this movie so I'm leaving with a f—ing suit."

According to Comic Book, even though the movie was made with a limited budget, Reynolds said that he is pleased with the outcome of the movie.

He said, "Sometimes the long game pays off, I never thought it would come to fruition, it's been an uphill battle but there was such an appetite for that character on screen."

Reynolds further added, "We did it with a relative pittance compared to most superhero films, but it really allowed us to explore the character. When you see the movie, you would think it's a $150 million film, but actually it's not at all."

However, Reynolds might need to return the suit after a while because according to MTV, a "Deadpool" sequel is already planned and it's going at a faster pace than the first movie. Apart from the sequel, there are also talks that "Deadpool" will have a crossover with another X-Men hero, "Gambit," played by Channing Tatum.

"Deadpool" will be released on February 12, 2016.
