“Fast and Furious 8” has finally secured a director to bring it to the big screen.
Vin Diesel’s chosen director, F. Gary Gray officially confirmed through Twitter that he will take the reins for the eight installment of Universal’s “Fast and Furious” franchise. The esteemed director tweeted, “Can’t ask for better partners than Vin, Neal & Universal. Excited to bring u the next chapter of the #FastFamily saga.”
Comicbook.com has learned F. Gary Gray met with Vin Diesel regarding the open slot for a “Fast And Furious 8” directorial job. Apparently, the meeting ended well and both have agreed upon on negotiations as the franchise star posted a photo of him with Gray on his Facebook page.
