Malika Haqq was arrested for DUI after figuring in a car crash in Los Angeles.
Khloe Kardashian’s BFF and “Dash Dolls” reality star has been arrested by cops for DUI after her car crashed around 3 AM on an L.A. freeway.
According to TMZ, sources from the law enforcement said the accident happened at the 101. Reports coming from the California Highway Patrol detailed Malika Haqq exhibited “objective symptoms of intoxication” and that she failed her field sobriety test. Responding cops believed Khloe Kardashian’s best friend was under alcohol influence as she was reported to be at a birthday party earlier before the accident.
An update from PerezHilton.com revealed Malika Haqq was arrested and booked at a jail at 4:18 a.m. in nearby North Hollywood but, before noon, the 32-year-old reality star who also appeared with BFF Khloe Kardashian in “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” was released after posting a $30,000 bail. She suffered “minor injuries” and apparently had a BAC of 0.08, as per police’s report.
Entertainment Tonight has learned through sources that Khloe Kardashian’s BFF was very accommodating with authorities after her car crashed with another vehicle. Malika Haqq was said to have lamented minor neck pains. Meanwhile, the other party has suffered no injuries from the crash.
In related news, Malika Haqq talked to Entertainment Tonight about how it is being employed by Hollywood’s most noticeable family last month before the reality show “Dash Dolls” premiered last September. “Dash Dolls” follows the gorgeous and young women who worked at the Kardashian sisters’ Los Angeles boutique, DASH. She said the Kardashian women were “really selfless and great bosses,” and added, “All of us are learning so much from them.”
Malika Haqq and Khloe Kardashian were really BFFs because the latter was also arrested for DUI last March 2007, Daily Mail has learned.
