'King Kong Vs Godzilla,' The EPIC Battle Of Monsters CONFIRMED To Be In The Works

"King Kong Vs Godzilla" the anticipated fight between two of biggest and most destructive monsters of all time will finally clash on the big screen.

Fans, be very afraid and be very excited because, according to Deadline, Warner Brothers confirmed that a movie featuring these two behemoths will indeed happen.

Earlier last month, it was revealed that "King Kong's" movie rights were transferred to Warner Bros when Legendary Pictures' Thimas Tull, moved his untitled Skull Island King Kong Film to the movie studio. This was done to unite the property of Legendary's other monster franchise, "Godzilla."

With the move set in place, the monster movie cross over is now made possible. As for the "King Kong" stand alone movie, many names are quickly attached to star including, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston.

And as reported, Legendary Pictures and Warner issued a joint press release and said, "Following Legendary's and Warner Bros. Pictures' 2014 success with the global reinvention of the Godzilla franchise, the companies have come together to create an epic, new shared cinematic franchise."

In a related report by GQ, before the epic clash happens, both of the monsters will have stand-alone movies of their own — "King Kong: Skull Island" in 2017 and "Godzilla 2" in the summer of 2018.

And as reported by Dread Central, Legendary Pictures also received rights to additional classic characters from Toho's "Godzilla" universe, including Rodan, Mothra and King Ghidora. With that news, fans are now expecting the clash to be even more epic.

A fatal five-way fight between Godzilla, King Kong, Rodan, Mothra and King Ghidora or most likely, King Kong and Godzilla teaming up to take down the three monsters.

But then again, no matter how the two monsters will clash on the big screen, one thing is for certain; it will be monstrously awesome.
