Metta World Peace has something to say to the Kardashian family and it isn't that nice.
As reported by the Daily Mail, World Peace, one of Lamar Odom's former team mates and oldest friends, said that not every Kardashian has to be with his friend's side.
According to the player formerly known as Ron Artest, "The only Kardashian that needs to be there is Khloe." He then added, "This is nothing against Khloe. This is for the celebrities that are coming to see Lamar. They should know they're taking time away from Lamar's children."
In addition, US Magazine also noted that World Peace then explained the matter and said, "Not every Kardashian needs to be around. They need to keep it simple, so Lamar's children can see him whenever they want to see him. They're waiting in line to see their own father."
Although Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom does not have a kid of their own, the former NBA player is dad to two kids.
Odom's kids are 17-year-old Destiny and 13-year-old Lamar Jr., whom he fathers with his ex Lisa Morales. According to reports, Khloe flew his kids and family to be by the player's side during this tough time.
But as reported by the Huffington Post, it's not only World Peace who is voicing his disdain for being linked to the Kardashians. It was reported that ESPN's Scott Van Pelt reminded viewers that Odom is a former NBA player first and should not be mixed with the reality show family at every mention.
Van Pelt said, "Kardashian reality star? No, no, no, no. Lamar Odom, unlike those for whom fame is oxygen, whose fame comes in the absence of accomplishment, his fame was earned."
As for Odom's condition, reports are saying that it continues to improve and the former Laker has regained consciousness, although he is still in the ICU.
