In "Rosewood" Season 1 Episode 5, crime-solving duo Dr. Beaumont Rosewood and Detective Annalise Villa will be investigating a murder involving an ex-convict, who has connections with a Little Haiti gang. But as the series progresses, will Rosie and Villa continue to work together effectively?
Prior to "Rosewood" Season 1 Episode 5, Rosie and Villa teamed up to investigate the death involving the son of prominent family from a suspected drug overdose in "Vandals and Vitamins." However, they found out that he died in the hands of his doctor through the lethal combination of sulfur and acupuncture treatment after Rosie conducted an autopsy, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
Villa, on the other hand, discovered the victim Stephen Stavros was looking for a lawyer to help him in the case he was about to file against his doctor, Dr. Foster.

It was already obvious that Rosie has a crush on Villa. But the latter kept on rejecting the pathologist's invitation for a coffee because she is still going through the grieving process since her husband died not too long ago. As per Latin Post, however, Villa suddenly called him in the middle of the night when she needed someone to talk to.
Unfortunately, Rosie might have a little competition, courtesy of his Miami-based best friend and infectious disease specialist, Dr. Mike Boyce (Taye Diggs), who have been recently cast as a possible love interest for Villa.
3. Rosie and Kat's surprise in "Rosewood" Season 1 Episode 5
In a promo clip for the episode, Rosewood was seen in a very steamy scene with a still unknown woman, who could most probably be his girlfriend Kat. Does this mean Rosie is taking their relationship in a surprising turn?
In other news, "Rosewood" Season 1 has been among FOX's standout series this fall. In fact, the series was reportedly given a full season order by the network. According to Variety, the show will have 22 episodes for its first season, in the hope that it will hold up as a reliable procedural drama similar to the long-running series of the network, "Bones."
