Stephen Curry Is Out Of This World! Surpasses Dad Dell Curry On All Time 3-Point List

Stephen Curry is unstoppable right now, and what he's doing is out of this world.

As reported by ESPN, the Golden State Warriors superstar continues to break records and drop buckets beyond the 3-point line.

Stephen Curry posted a 45.2 percent record from beyond the arc this season, with five 3-pointers in the Warriors' overtime victory against the Brooklyn Nets last Saturday night, giving him 1,248 three pointers made in his career.

That record puts him above his old man, Dell Curry, who has 1,245. The younger Curry said, "I knew about it going into the game," he added, "It's a pretty special moment for my family. I'm sure he never dreamt of the day one of his sons would pass him."

In a similar report by CBS Sports, the reigning MVP is now currently the 41st in all-time three pointers made, tied with former Orlando Magic, Hedo Turkoglu who just recently retired. But the most impressive part is, Curry reached that mark in just 427 career games, while Dell took 1,083 games to reach the same mark.

According to pundits, Curry's quick rise to the three-point made list reflects how the game has changed. During the last couple of years, fans and analysts witnessed how the NBA transitioned from the old-school back-to-the-basket game, to the quick and three-point heavy that is prevalent right now.

Positions in the NBA are now getting more and more blurry, with the game now requiring even the center, to have a decent jump shooting skill.

And evidently, Stephen Curry is absolutely dominating this new era in the NBA. In fact, Business Insider said that he is turning the NBA upside down.

The defending MVP is so good that teams are now getting creative when he gets the game going. With Curry just coming off from a championship, he did the impossible and has somehow got even better,

In just ten games, he's now the leading NBA scorer, who averages 33 points per game with a crazy 53 percent shooting, combined with five rebounds and five assists per game. Moreover, his efficiency is also through the roof because he posted a 65.9 percent effective field-goal percentage, higher than any other starting point guard in the league.

This onslaught has left many team asking, how do you stop Stephen Curry? Unfortunately for opponents but good news for fans, it's not an easy answer and it's definitely not an easy thing to do.

If he keeps playing at this rate, not only he'll surpass his old man, he'll also surpass LeBron James as the best player in the league.
