Ronda Rousey Predicted Her Defeat From Holly Holm; Will A Rematch Happen In The Near Future?

Ronda Rousey may have predicted her defeat from Holly Holm last Sunday at UFC 193. Now that her unbeaten record was shattered, will a rematch between the two female fighters happen in the near future?

ESPN has learned Ronda Rousey knew a month ago what her fate would be under the hands of Holly Holm.

Ronda Rousey told Jimmy Fallon when she guested last October on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" how her fight with Holm would go.

Ronda Rousey's words were,"I feel like she's going to try and, like, keep distance and keep far away from me and get me frustrated into a point I'll make a mistake and she can try and kick me in the head," which was on point with how UFC 193 turned out.

And she's not the only athlete to have done so, Bill Buckner, Red Sox first baseman predicted nineteen days prior to the 1986 World Series that he would "let the winning run score on a ground ball through your legs."

As to the head kick that Holly Holm delivered to Ronda Rousey at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia during Sunday's UFC 193 which stunned the crowd, Fox Sports reported the winning corner began to cheer in jubilation when the shot connected to Rousey's head.

But, cornerman and head coach Greg Jackson calmed everyone down in the midst of the chaotic scene that followed Holly Holm humbling Ronda Rousey.

Ronda Rousey's defeat was brought about by the confidence of Holly Holm and her team that she will overcome the athlete-celebrity.

"The Expendables 4" actress took several hard shots to her face while letting her over aggressiveness get the best out of her.

Greg Jackson added following the knockout of Ronda Rousey, "We were supposed to do this. Act professional."

Furthermore, Holly Holm's wrestling coach Izzy Martinez who cheered the loudest in her corner uttered, "No one's invincible."

Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey was feeling "depressed" and "bummed" after Holly Holm defeated her and grabbed her UFC title.
