“Sister Wives” star Meri Brown has finally come clean on what drove her to engaging in an online affair amid Kody and Robyn’s fight for their guardianship over the latter’s kids. The first wife of the polygamist family has said that her main reason behind this was jealousy.
In the wake of the "Tell All" episode of TLC's "Sister Wives," Meri took to Twitter to clarify her side and finally own up to what she has done through a series of tweets. First, she wrote: "Guess what world! We are human! We get jealous!"
She also included her titular sister wives in her explanation in a follow-up tweet which read: "We have always said we deal with jealousy. We have never denied it. We have also said we always work though it."
Kody retweeted Meri's second tweet. But before he did, he also clarified his side by insisting that for him, his marriage to Mery remains the same. He wrote: "@MeriBrown1 and I did NOT dissolve our marriage. Just as legit TO ME as mine with @JanelleBrown117 @rosecolored6 @LuvgvsUwngs (Janelle, Christine and Robyn)."
The meaningful tweets from Meri and Kody came amid TLC's airing of the finale of "Sister Wives" Season 6. In the finale, appropriately titled "Tell All," the wives and the patriarch opened up about what the entire family has gone through this season.
Inquisitr has learned that in the finale, Meri touched the issue about the catfish incident. He was quoted as saying by the site, "The pictures that he sent to me were of an actor.
Gushing about the hoaxer, who has since been identified as Jackie Overton, Meri said in a sneak peek: "There would be times when I would be talking to him on the phone, and he would have a temper tantrum of sorts and hang up the phone."
Meanwhile, the finale will just be as emotional for Kody who is now thankful that he has won custody over Robyn's children.
Per International Business Times, when Kody broke down in front of host Tamron Hall, the latter told the former that he has never seen Kody cry. However, Kody couldn't help it since he is very happy with the seemingly "surreal" turnout of events for him and Robyn's kids.
In the "Tell All," the Browns answered a lot of questions regarding a variety of topics involving the family, especially the wives when Robyn got pregnant and the catfishing incident, according to CelebDirtyLaundry.
"Sister Wives" Season 6 finale aired on Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
