Amal Alamuddin and Cindy Crawford might just be heading to a nasty catfight as they reportedly had a fallout after George Clooney's wife allegedly insulted the actor's supermodel best friend. In the latest reports, Alamuddin apparently gave a "catty" remark that made Crawford seethed with anger and prompted a desire for a makeover.
During Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney's double date with Cindy Crawford and her husband Randy Gerber at a popular Los Angeles restaurant, a source inside told Star (via Celeb Dirty Laundry) that the 37-year-old barrister was joking around and told the 49-year-old supermodel that transgender Caitlyn Jenner could be her twin.
The alleged restaurant insider further detailed that Amal Alamuddin was giggling and seemed to be having fun while Cindy Crawford, who is one of George Clooney's closest pals, sat during the dinner completely stone-faced.
"She [Cindy Crawford] doesn't ever want to be mistaken for Caitlyn again!" the insider said, as per CDL. The source also added that Crawford has no problem with anyone being transgender, but no woman wants to be told that she looks like a man who's had undergone a sex change.
Cindy Crawford, however, is not the only friend of George Clooney that has a bad blood on his wife, Amal Alamuddin. As a matter of fact, previous rumors claimed that Alamuddin is not in good terms with Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts. Unfortunately, Crawford was also rumored to be causing marital issues between the couple.
Ever since the beginning of their married life, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have been constantly facing divorce and pregnancy rumors. But now rumors about an imminent divorce have intensified after the human rights lawyer decided to ditch her $750,000 engagement ring, International Business Times reported.
Some reports suggested that Amal Alamuddin wanted to go low profile and wanted a simple platinum band instead of a huge ring that she can't wear in court or during her professional interactions.
"Amal has told friends she wants a more understated engagement ring specifically for when she's working on serious cases," an insider reportedly revealed. "People constantly stop her and admire it for a closer look. It is a massive rock and there is no hiding it."
Others, however, claimed that the couple is having some issues on their relationship because of Alamuddin's focus on her job and their alleged rift because of Cindy Crawford. Amal Alamuddin apparently doesn't like the former supermodel and have failed to be friends.
"Cindy's been a good sport and has tried to win Amal over, but it's been an uphill battle," a source said, another International Business Times quoted. "While Cindy has dealt with snooty Amal 'very graciously, both women are telling their men that they can forget about a feliz navidad south of the border."
