It's great to be a video gamer and a soccer fan because "Pro Evolution Soccer 2016" is receiving the long-awaited Data Pack 2 in a free update available now!
According to Gamereactor, the latest update of the game gives players a whopping 51 additional player faces, including Fernando Torres, Kevin de Bruyne, Jamie Vardy, Aleksander Mitrovic and Julian Draxler.
In addition, other inclusions are new international kits for Germany, Italy and Spain as well as the Maracana stadium, complete with its own special intro cut scene showcasing the stadium's exterior and surrounding city.
Eight new boot styles have also been added in the pack that features the latest designs from Joma, Mizuno and Puma.
The Independent also reported that "Pro Evolution Soccer 2016" will be adding Legends to its myClub game mode that include famous Italian player Roberto Baggio.
However, the report noted that it's still not sure how many legends will make an appearance in the game just yet, but Konami assured fans that it will announce "the great legends" this month and more info will be released on Dec. 8.
The latest update also brings a myClub friendly lobby mode, which allows players to play against friends without using up their player contracts.
Moreover, "Pro Evolution Soccer 2016" players on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will get to enjoy the recreation of Brazilian Estadio do Maracana venue in the latest update. Also, it has been revealed that there will be a unique pre-match intro sequence that will show the exterior and surrounding city and passionate fans lighting fireworks and flares.
Apart from the mentioned update and changes, International Business Times reported that many bug fixes were also included in the update like if the player starts playing a match with any preset tactics except pre-set tactics 1, he or she will see the wrong formation just after the kick off.
In COM matches, sometimes COM cannot throw in and also the match does not proceed. Also, in online matches, sometimes the Power Gauge does not appear properly and the power of the next play gets weaker.
"COPA SUDAMERICANA 2015" mode has been added in Competition. Also, Team Spirit affecting goalkeepers has also been adjusted in myClub mode and the Master League Mode, which made the gameplay even more seamless than ever, which is a huge plus for gamers out there.
