[WATCH] PS4 'Final Fantasy VII' Remake Trailer Revealed! See The Classic RPG Get Its HD Revival!

The PlayStation 4 remake of "Final Fantasy VII" was released and it will take you to a trip down memory lane.

As reported by Engadget, fans and critics alike got a good hard look at what the remake will be like and what it's all about.

Square Enix teased a remastered version of the game and it looks like it's going to be quite different from what the fans remember in the original version of the game.

However, Forbes noted that creator Tetsuya Nomura did tell people that the new "Final Fantasy VII" would be a different take on the game, but it seems according to the trailer shown, it's going to be a lot more than just a simple remake.

But fans can still enjoy the game because as noted, it looks like that it's still themed along the same line as the original game — sharing its scenario and characters, but with very different gameplay.

Reports also indicated that game critics are really curious how the game will play due to its huge similarity to its franchise stable mate, the "Final Fantasy XV."

In addition to that, once the remake has been released, you can compare the original to the remake as Sony has also re-released the original PlayStation title on the PS4. And in that sense, the game has now been properly archived on modern systems that can allow Square Enix's team to properly flex their creative muscles on the upcoming remake.

But as of now, gamers and critics alike are not entirely sure whether the game will be a success or not. For the time being though, the "Final Fantasy VII" trailer assures at least the fact that it looks nothing short of fantastic.

If you're excited now, you have to wait a little bit more because the game is likely set for a release next year and it will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive.

In a similar report by Metro, the game was unveiled at Sony's PlayStation Experience event in the U.S., which according to reports, is getting bigger every year.

A huge number of games, including the "FF7" trailer, was unveiled, including a number of exclusive games for the PlayStation VR.

In the event, Naughty Dog, creator of the highly acclaimed game "The Last of Us" revealed the trailer for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End."

It showed the game's amazing graphics and even an unexpected feature — ranching dialogue choices.

And to trickle your nostalgic senses, the event also served as a witness to the unveiling of "Ratchet & Clank" a re-imagining of the hit PlayStation 2 game.

Also revealed in the event are VR games like "Rez Infinite," "Brutal" and "100 Ft Root Golf."
