5 Career Trends For The Young Workers of 2016

New goals, new jobs, new careers. Here is a rundown of what's new for this year in terms of career trends:

1. Boomerang workers. Switching jobs frequently has always been something that's frowned upon by certain management and companies. But lately, it has become more and more usual to see someone get hired again into their ex-job despite having switched a couple of times. And they ask, why not? The employee has gained more experience they could bring to the floor, and it has become more of a win-win situation rather than a loss for the bosses.

2. Multiple careers. Yes, switching job every two months is a sore in all levels, but doing it within every three to five years don't look so bad now. More than the nor, than ever before, having multiple careers has become more acceptable, given the benefits that you gain from being in a different career path and environment every now and then.

3. Work life balance. There is definitely a huge difference between the workes from the past from the 21st century millenials. You could say that it could be the influence of the world today, and the millenials seem to be more driven to have a personal life while doing meaningful and blog-worthy work performance on the other hand.

4. More promotions. Younger workers will finally experience the upgrade movement since a lot of the older ones are set to retire in the year 2016. According to Forbes, an estimated 25 percent of millenial workers will become managers this year.

5. New and improved perks. Since most of the new employees are management will, without a doubt, try to hit home with them. Offering benefits and perks that would cater to their interests would equal to actually encouraging them to become more enthusiastic and dedicated to their jobs. Adoption assistance, student loan repayment, free lunches are some of the new offers that will take their peak this year.
