"Frozen 2" cast, plot and release date updates are hinting that another Disney star, Tarzan, might be added to the sequel's cast. Will he be the surprise villain in the movie?
New reports have also hinted that a new villain will be introduced, but the sequel's antagonist will be a female. As for Tarzan, no confirmations have been made regarding his involvement, but director Chris Buck has been generous enough to discuss his possible relation to Anna and Elsa.
"Of course Anna and Elsa's parents didn't die," Buck said, according to Vine Report. "Yes, there was a shipwreck, but they were at seas a little bit longer that we think they were because the mother was pregnant, and she gave birth on the boat, to a little boy."
"They get shipwrecked, and somehow they were really washed far away from the Scandinavian waters, and they end up in the jungle," he added. "They end up building a treehouse and a leopard kills them, so their baby boy is raised by gorillas."
Other "Frozen 2" plot, cast and release date rumors teased that the new movie might expose the truth between Elsa and Anna- they are not real sisters! To make things more interesting, Rapunzel from "Tangled" is speculated to be Elsa's real sister.
"As fans earlier speculated, 'Frozen' has indeed close relations with' Tangled,'" Australia Network News reported. "In the 2013 Disney film, Rapunzel and Eugene was seen visiting the Kingdom of Arendelle. According to Radio Times, a new fan theory suggests that Rapunzel is Elsa's real sister."
"The fan made video noted that Disney films take place in a 'large, connected universe.' As such, the video laid out four factors in proving that Elsa and Rapunzel are sisters. These are location, timing, genetics and magical powers."
