'Reign' Season 3 Cancelled? Second Half Of Current Run Pushed Back By CW

We've already seen the mid-season finale of "Reign" season 3 on CW this January. Now, fans are anxious to hear when the second half will return.

When CW aired its mid-season finale in January, fans have already been gripping their seats waiting for the climactic clash between Elizabeth and Mary. The last episode showed a teasing ending regarding Francis' death. His death was not an accident after all.

"Reign" has teased viewers with a preview on Facebook regarding the return of the television series, and indicated that it will come back this spring hoping it will excite and calm viewers.

Thankfully, the return date of the royal television drama series has been slated on Apr. 25. The premiere of the second half of "Reign" season 3 is scheduled on a Monday as the network hopes it will boost its ratings.

What will the second half bring? Mary, Queen of Scots will be facing a new enemy in her midst as John Barrowman graces Europe with his presence as Francis' killer. Mary doesn't seem to be running out of enemies because this time, her new foe is Scottish and he plans to take her down bit by bit, and it started with her deceased husband already.

Who is Mary's ally? That is the question she will be facing while she stands before the wrath of Elizabeth and England, an uproar in Scotland that does not find their own Scottish Mary to be a friend, and possibly being banished from France.

The second half may also show a prospective love interest with the spying English Ambassador. Though he may not be as amiable as Toby Regbo was, fans are still keen to see Mary in love even during times of war and deception.
