Having worked with the brand for several years and walked in the 2015 annual fashion show, Victoria's Secret has finally put wings on Josephine Skriver and made her an official angel.
Here are 5 things you need to know about the Danish beauty:
1. She's dating Alexander Deleon, the frontman of the punk rock band The Cab. The couple are publicly romantic, and supports each another in more ways than one. Upon the news that her girlfriend had been listed as the latest VS Angel, Deleon tweeted, "CONGRATS ON BECOMING THE NEWEST @VICTORIASSECRET ANGEL BABY! NO ONE IS MORE PROUD OF YOU!!! SO SO IN LOVE WITH YOU!! @JOSEPHINSKRIVER" The two have also modelled together for a DL1961 campaign last year.
2. Skriver's mother is lesbian and her father is gay. She told i-D Magazine last year how proud she is to be an 'IVF' kid. "It has taught me to look at the world and every new thing with open eyes and an open mind. None of us are the same... We are all born in different cultures with different personalities and we all have a right to be just who we are! it has without a doubt opened my heart and taught me that love does not judge, love does not discriminate, and love does not hate," she shared.
3. She's an ambassador for the Family Equality Council's Outspoken Generation Program and aims to help awareness about how amazing and loving parents who are members of the LGBTQ community can be. She told i-D Magazine that who they love does not make them any less capable of raising great human beings. "The more people realize that my own upbringing and that of others were healthy, positive ones, the more they will come to understand that the love in an LGBTQ household is no different," she added.
4. Skriver has a pretty legit clique. Her fellow models and Victoria's Secret angels Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevigne and as well as Selena Gomez. She is always present in support of her girls.
5. She has a younger brother - Oliver Skriver. They share the same parents and just like his big sister, Oliver is pretty stylish, too.
