AT & T Sinks In $10 Billion To Advance Global Business Solutions

AT&T recently announced its plan to invest nearly $10 billion throughout the year to boost the company's global business solutions division.

The said investment will be a part of the AT&T's total investment of $22 billion for 2016. This amount will be earmarked for the expansion of the communication giant's new solutions in additional locations.

"Business is moving faster than ever and companies around the world need to be agile to quickly adapt to changing markets," Ralph de la Vega said referring to the multi-billion dollar investment. He is Vice Chairman and Business Solutions & International CEO of AT&T.

The global business solutions of this communication giant include all the communication services that global business and organizations need to facilitate their communications.

These solutions include Mobility Services, Network Services, Cloud Services, Internet of Things (IoT), Voice Services, Unified Communications, Network Security, Hosting Services, Enterprise Mobility Management, APIs (Application Programming Interface), and Application Services.

All these tools are offered to the clients of AT&T to enable them to make adjustments as they face technological and marketing changes in the global market.

The investments are earmarked for the integration of more than 6,000 kilometers of fiber in Mexico which will enhance the company's support in its wireless operations towards the wire line network. It will also be spent in the establishment of these resources by adding global network modes.

There will be hundreds of sellers that will also be integrated through this investment so that AT&T can push its business solutions in the United States.

De la Vega also noted that businesses today need to be flexible so that they can take advantage of short-term opportunities while they implement their long-term strategies.

The goal of the $10 billion investment, according to de la Vega, is to bring about this type of business flexibility.

Earlier this month, the giant communication network company also began its field trials of 5G cellular technology as it prepared to unveil this service to its clients.
