Marvel's Spider-Man may have been unknowingly revealed by a business card.
Movie Web reported that Hybrid Network may have given fans the first glimpse on the highly-anticipated character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"FIRST LOOK AT MCU #SpiderMan #Marvel #CivilWar" the network tweeted.
Apparently, Marvel's Spider-Man has been introduced in a business card belonging to Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso. The card showed characters in the MCU such as Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Black Widow, Star-Lord and Black Panther.
The publication noted that the characters, except for Black Widow, seem to be wearing their MCU costumes. This led to speculations that this may be the official costume for Marvel's Spider-Man.
"Captain America: Civil War" director Anthony Russo has previously teased that Spidey's costume is not ready to be revealed yet since "so much will be produced with special effects."
Tom Holland, who will portray Marvel's Spider-Man, is said to wear two different costumes in "Civil War." These may be Peter Parker's homemade outfit as well as the Iron Spider created by Tony Stark.
According to Tech Times, Spider-Man's look is "more than a little underwhelming." Moreover, it seems like this is merely a generic image of the web-slinger and may not be his actual look in the film.
The website urged readers to not assume that the image from the business card is actually Marvel's Spider-Man. Fans will get to see the hero in action soon in "Captain America: Civil War" on May 6, 2016.
YHM reported that Marvel's Spider-Man seems to have been caught between Marvel and Sony's trademark deals.
Meanwhile, comic book legend Stan Lee talked about Spider-Man. BBC reported that the iconic creator thinks that Spidey is his best character since he is the "most popular."
"Anywhere you go in the world you'll find some kid wearing a Spider-Man t-shirt, playing with a Spider-Man toy or reading a Spider-Man book," he said.
"The beautiful thing about Spider-Man is that he keeps doing new things and evolving."
