"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star June Shannon aka Mama June is currently making headlines after she was reportedly rushed to the hospital on Wednesday. Does it mean that Mama June has a serious health problem?
Mama June Shannon's latest health scare came after she collapsed while walking down some stairs at her home in Georgia. According to Daily Mail, she was taken by her 16-year-old daughter Lauryn Thompson aka Pumpkin to a local hospital, where she was admitted.
It was also reported that Mama June had been complaining about not feeling well, noting her multiple fainting spells experience. But her condition might be caused by extreme dieting since she had not eaten much during that day, TMZ learned.
While she had now regained consciousness after those fainting spells, doctors are preparing to administer a CT scan on Mama June, as well as blood work to determine the cause, FOX News noted.
The 36-year-old reality star was also visited by her 10-year-old daughter Alana Thompson aka Honey Boo Boo at the hospital, People revealed. Alana was the one who helped launch the family's popularity with her memorable appearance on "Toddlers & Tiaras."
Meanwhile, Mama June Shannon has recently revealed that she had lost 150 pounds. However, she admitted that she also has to undergo a fat freezing procedure for her "stubborn" double chin.
"My kids joke about my turkey neck or 'gobble gobble," Mama June told Inside Edition.
Aside from her weight, June Shannon also have quite a challenging life these past few years. In fact, she saw the cancellation of her family's series by TLC in 2014 after three seasons. The reason? She was reportedly dating a man who had been convicted of child molestation, as per Us Weekly.
Mama June had also recently appeared on We TV's unscripted series, "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars," where she attempted to come to terms with her 44 year-old husband Mike aka Sugar Bear Thompson's infidelity.
During their time on the show, which came in an effort to repair their relationship, Shannon accused her husband of being unfaithful on her with both men and women.
In other news, both Mama June Shannon and her daughter Pumpkin recently came out as bisexual.
