Michael Schumacher’s Health Condition Needing Miracle? Former F1 Superstar’s Family Still Not Giving Up Despite Slow, Uncertain Recovery

Michael Schumacher fans are still patiently waiting for any updates regarding the former Formula One superstar's health condition. Unfortunately, reports have been scarce due to the ongoing media blackout requested by his family.

While it has recently been reported that Schumacher can now wallk, his manager Sabine Khem refuted the claims, saying the erroneous report only brought "false hopes" to all Schumacher fans and supporters, News24 noted.

"Unfortunately, we are forced by a recent press report to clarify that the assertion that Michael could move again is not true," Kehm said. "Such speculation is irresponsible, because given the seriousness of his injuries, his privacy is very important for Michael. Unfortunately they also give false hopes to many involved people."

Despite the fact that Schumacher is at the road to recovery, an insider told Daily Express that the F1 legend's progress is "painfully slow," saying "there is no miracle on the horizon."

As fans, friends and colleagues continue to pray for Michael Schumacher's condition, FIA president and close family friend Jean Todt recently got candid about his relationship with the seven-time world champion.

"My relationship with him has changed of course, but I still have a relationship with him," Todt said in a separate Daily Express report. "I'm still his friend. And my relationship with Corinna and the family has become much more intense. I feel a responsibility to stand by them."

Meanwhile, the Schumacher clan remain hopeful in spite of the slow progress in his recovery. In a rare public appearance at an exhibition in Germany, which was attended by his wife Corinna and their two children Gina Marie and Mick last month, Kehm insisted that all that could be done at the moment was to be optimistic and show support for his family.

"He is the most successful driver in history and sometimes, on days like this, it is good to be reminded of it," Kehm said, as per Planet F1. "Of course, Michael is not here and of course we miss him. We know what has happened and cannot change it."

"We must accept it and hope with everything we have that with continued support and patience he will one day be back with us," she added. "Racing was his life and no one would have liked to have been here more than him."

More than two years after his unfortunate skiing accident at the French Alpine resort of Meribel in December 2013, Michael Schumacher continues to undergo an extensive rehabilitation program at his Geneva, Switzerland estate. He is reportedly under the care of 15 medical experts at a highly-secured and state-of-the-art custom built suite at the comforts of his home 24/7.
